About
I am a Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design at the University of Bolton. Prior to this appointment I was creative director of Washington Ryan a design consultancy with — you guessed it — Leanda Ryan. Together we provided a wide range of visual communication services to both private and public organisations. The business was a great success, but circumstances led to a change in direction which ultimately resulted in an intensive 4 years of study and a rapid entry into a teaching post.
In 2008 I completed a Masters Degree in Digital Image and Media. This programme of study has set me on a course of enquiry that I know will never end; therefore, this website is going to be a record of the journey. Come along if you like!
